Happy Birthday to my dear friend Spiff, who turned 28 today.
Food truly brings people together. Today, let me share two wonderful meals that we enjoyed as children. Now you can make these sumptuous treasures for your own kids.
Recipe #1: Onions with Mustard
Back when we were 12, I know Debbie was thrilled when my mom insisted on sharing this tasty and original snack with her. I know she was so glad she tried it.
1 raw yellow onion
Cut the raw onion into thin wedges. Dip the onions in the dijon mustard as if they were chips and dip.
Recipe #2: Peanut Butter on a Plate
The perfect afternoon treat.
Put a very large glob of peanut butter on a plate. Grab two forks and dig in family-style with a friend. Be prepared for a parent to yell at you later for embarrassing them by serving our guest peanut butter on a plate.
